Collage: Rancho Mission Viejo

Rancho Mission Viejo, located off the Ortega Highway, is 23,000 acres. It contains a working ranch, a habitat preserve and the first of several villages to be built over the next two decades. Roughly 2,000 residents live in an unincorporated community known as "Sendaro." The 44th Annual Festival of Whales is being organized and will occur at Dana Point Harbor. The festival is scheduled for the weekends of March 7th and 8th as well as March 14th and 15th.
