Your Pancreas is about six inches long and looks like a pear laying on it's side.

The Pancreas secretes hormone, including insulin, to help your body process sugar in the foods you eat. And it produces digestive juices to help your body digest food.

Pancreatic Cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably and form a tumor.

She'll discuss the issues involving Pancreatic Cancer with 13 and a half year Pancreatic survivor Roberta Luna, and her husband Vic who is the Purple Stride Chair and Media Relations Chair Ana Shook.

Veterans in South County have the opportunity to connect with transitional support services at the South County Veterans summit that's scheduled Nov 6th at Saddleback College.

Active military and veterans and their families are invited to the event that will go on between nine in the morning and two in the afternoon.
