Collage: Pathways to Independence

Women between the ages 18 and 35 who have experienced abuse, drug addiction problems and who are poor by federal standards may get help through the non-profit Pathways to Independence.

Based in Huntington Beach, Pathways to Independence helps women with weekly interactions with a mentor and weekly couseling with a licenced therapist.

The goal is to heal the women and help them to become contributing members of society.

Please join KSBR News Director Dawn Kamber as she welcomes Pathways to Independence founder Dave Bishop and Fund Director Lisa Mais.
