Collage: Pancreatic Cancer

Your Pancreas is about six inches long and looks like a pear laying on it's side.

The Pancreas secretes hormone, including insulin, to help your body process sugar in the foods you eat. And it produces digestive juices to help your body digest food.

Pancreatic Cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably and form a tumor.

Please join KSBR News Director Dawn Kamber as she welcomes her guests from the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Orange County Affiliate. She'll discuss the issues involving Pancreatic Cancer with 13 and a half year Pancreatic survivor Roberta Luna, and her husband Vic who is the Purple Stride Chair and Media Relations Chair Ana Shook.
